東京藝術大学附属高等学校、同大学ピアノ科を卒業。パリ国立高等音楽院ピアノ科、フォルテピアノ科卒。ベルギー政府給費留学生として、ブリュッセル王立音楽院ピアノ科マスターコースを修了。現代音楽から古楽器のフォルテピアノまでの幅広いレパートリーをもとに、リサイタルシリーズ「Parfum du Futur」（25回開催）や室内楽シリーズ「l’Espace」（11回開催）をはじめ、多彩な演奏活動を展開し、2010年第28回中島健蔵音楽賞受賞。
2025年フランス20、21世紀ピアノ作品によるCD「道 le chemin」をカメラータ・トウキョウより発表。リリース済みのCD「一柳慧ピアノ作品集」、「France Now」、「Japan Now」、「和の歌（WANOKA）」を含めて5枚のCDはレコード芸術特選盤に選ばれるなど、高い評価を受けている。2013年リリースの「France Now」2014年度 第52回レコード・アカデミー賞（現代曲部門）および「クラシック不滅の名盤 1000」（2018年レコード芸術編）に選ばれた。2017年には一柳慧「ピアノ協奏曲第4番Jazz」の2台ピアノ版をピアノソロ用に編曲した「ジャズ・ファンタジー」、2021年CD「和の歌」全曲を収めた楽譜が、それぞれショット・ミュージックより出版されている。
これまで東京、パリを中心に、フランス、ベルギー、フィンランド、ロシア、スペイン、アメリカ、台湾などで演奏を重ね、日本演奏連盟50周年記念演奏会、北とぴあ国際音楽祭、カウニアイネン音楽祭、ラウタッサーリ音楽祭（フィンランド）、第19回ショパンフェスティヴァル（フランス）などに出演。室内楽奏者としてもサル・コルトーなどフランスを代表する会場で演奏するほか、フォルテピアノ奏者としても活動している
ベルギーでの研鑽と音楽的経験は、その後の演奏活動においても重要な位置を占めており、今回の「ベルギー・ピアノ作品集」は、ベルギー音楽との長年にわたる関わりを背景に、19世紀から現代に至る同国のピアノ音楽の魅力と多様性を紹介する試みである。

Aska Iino graduated from the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, and from the university’s Department of Piano. She went on to study in Paris, graduating in both piano and fortepiano from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, and completed a master’s course in piano at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles as a Belgian government scholarship student. With a repertoire ranging from cont‑emporary music to the fortepiano, she appears in a wide variety of concert settings, including her recital series Parfum du Futur, presented 25 times to date, and the chamber music series l’Espace, presented 11 times. In 2010 she received the 28th Nakajima Kenzo Music Award.
In 2025, Camerata Tokyo released LE CHEMIN, her album of twentieth- and twenty-first-century French piano works. Her five recordings, including Piano Works by Toshi Ichiyanagi, France Now, Japan Now and WANOKA, have been highly acclaimed; all were selected as Record Geijutsu Specially Selected Discs. France Now, released in 2013, won the 52nd Record Academy Award for 2014 in the Contemporary Music category and was later included in Record Geijutsu’s 2018 guide to 1,000 essential classical recordings. Schott Music has published two of her scores: Jazz Fantasy (2017), her solo-piano arrangement of Toshi Ichiyanagi’s Piano Concerto No. 4 “Jazz” in its two-piano version, and the complete score of WANOKA (2021).
She teaches part-time at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, the Faculty of Music of Toho Gakuen School of Music, the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, and the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. She also serves as an Akita Tourism Promotion Ambassador. |
